Tamra Holden

Tamra Holden is an entertainer working out in Branson, MO.  Here is an interview with her.  Thanks Tamra!

"Birth date?"

Answer:
"
November 5th."

Question:
"City you reside in?"

Answer:
"Branson, MO."

Question:
"Marital status/family?"

Answer:
"Married to my wonderful husband Joe."

Question:
"Hobbies?"

Answer:
"I love to sing and dance.  I like watching as well as participating in all sports, traveling, shopping and eating."

Question:
"How old were you when you first became interested in music?"

Answer:
"My parents have recordings of me singing when I was around 2 or 3 years old and my Grandmother was a concert pianist, my father is a band and orchestra director and I have always remembered loving music."

Question:
"How long have you been entertaining, alone or with a group?"

Answer:
"I started singing in church at a very young age, then joined a Christian singing group and theater around 12 years old."

Question:
"Before this, what kind of experience did you have in the entertainment industry, musical or otherwise?"

Answer:
"I basically answered this one in earlier questions.  However, I did sing with my fathers jazz bands and orchestras from when I was a junior in high school."

Question:
"Musical influences?"

Answer:
"Definitely my Grandmother and my father.  I enjoyed listening to everyone from Aretha, Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Martina McBride, Reba, and many, many more."

"Where can people find out more about you?"

Answer:

Question:
"What's your favorite thing about entertaining?"

Answer:
"I love to make people smile or reflect on something.  In other words, getting the audience to be so wrapped up in the song."

Question:
"What's your least favorite thing about entertaining?"

Answer:
"When people feel bad for you for maybe not having a huge audience.  Any audience is great for me.  I just want every one to enjoy themselves."

Question:
"What's your most memorable moment on stage?"

Answer:
"There are quite a few.  One is losing my skirt while dancing.  Another is my top falling down (and I didn't know it) and thankfully the lighting guy started to turn out the stage lights so I could realize it."

Question:
"What's your most memorable moment off stage, music related?"

Answer:
"I always get a thrill when people after a show tell me how much a song that I had sung meant to them."

Question:
"Is there anything that your fans don't know about you that you think they should?"

Answer:
"If it's reasonable...all they have to do is ask!"

Question:
"Is there anything that you want to say to your fans?"

Answer:
"It always amazes me that I have fans!  I consider them friends and I appreciate everything that they do for me."

Question:
"Is there anything that you want to add?"

Answer:
"If you're ever in Branson, MO, I would love to meet you at "The White House Theater" in our show "Magnificent Country".  We have a show every day at 3p.m. except Monday and an added night show on Wednesday at 7p.m."
