Johnny Clueless

This band offers a mix, mostly made up of 70's and 80's music.

The band:
The lead guitar/backup vocals sounded pretty good and seemed to enjoy what he was doing, but was completely incapable of smiling while he was on stage.

The lead vocals/rhythm guitar was also pretty good.  A smile also seemed to be too much to ask for from him.  He was far too serious on stage.

The drummer was pretty good, but the incapable of smiling problem must have been contagious, because he seemed to have the same problem.

The bass player/backup vocals was great.  At least she offered a smile and showed some life on stage.

Their performance:
The Pros:
They played some good music.

The Cons:
They weren't enthusiastic on stage.

My Thoughts:
The music was ok.  To be completely honest, I wasn't the least bit impressed with them.  They were far too serious on stage.  They had a total of four people out on the dance floor during one song, and that was the busiest the dance floor got.  They had some enthusiasm, but offered no entertainment.

Rating:
On a scale of one to five (five being terrific) I'll give them a one and a half.  I left the venue with a bitter taste in my mouth.  I wouldn't go back to see them, and I certainly wouldn't pay a cover charge to see them.  I was incredibly disappointed in their performance.
