Interview with NA

Nathan Anderson Project

This group plays music by Hootie and the Blowfish, Elvis, and everything in between.

Be sure to check out the interview with Nathan Anderson!

The band:
The keyboard player/saxophone player offered a lot of talent while playing.

The acoustic guitar/vocals offered a lot of talent and humor.  He offered a lot of enthusiasm to their stage show as well.

The drummer offered a lot of talent and humor to their show.

The bass player offered a lot of talent and enthusiasm on stage.

The Music:
This group plays a mix of music from Elvis to Hootie and the Blowfish.

Their performance:
The Pros:
They have a lot of humor in their show.

They have great enthusiasm and talent to offer.

The Cons:
They don't call out to a very large audience.  The humor is fun for a little while, but wears thin pretty quickly.

My Thoughts:
This group honestly calls out to a relatively limited audience.  They're a pretty young group, they do a lot of improvising in the music they play, and they make up their own lines to a lot of the cover songs they play.  They offer a lot of humor in their show, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Rating:
On a scale of one to five (five being terrific) I would give this group a three and a half.
They don't target a very large audience, even though they play a wide variety of music.  The improvising and humor makes this group relatively limited in the crowds they'll attract.  The humor wears thin after a short time and it's really not an act that I'd go to see for an entire night.
